Project Objectives & Goals

Organic Roots deals in the business of supplying customers with quality and natural hair care solutions for the purpose of ensuring good health for their hair. By doing so, this will help in driving the client’s ultimate goals of increasing lead enquiries and increasing website traffic.

Our engagement is to develop their presence online through driving organic traffic with effective SEO strategies, rather than paid advertising. We would focus more on optimization for relevant keywords and building a reputable brand so Organic Roots can see a major increase in sales and visibility of their brand.

Project Initial Condition

As a matter of fact, the website in mention was far from decent, as far as online visibility is concerned, before working with Devlush. This translates to a total of 20,600 clicks, about 60 each day, starting from May 2023 to January 30, 2024. With regard to impressions, the website reached 437,000, translating to an average of about 1,200 impressions per day for eight months.

The keyword rankings were abysmally low, which signaled very poor optimization. To this regard, 47 keywords were ranked in the top 10, 74 in the top 20, and just about 20 in the top 3 rankings. Taken altogether, the website attracted about 400 visits organically, evidence enough that much-needed improvements in strategy were necessary to create improved search engine rankings.

After seven months of focused optimization for Organic Roots, we started to see quite remarkable improvements: total clicks went from 20,600 to 27,200. While total impressions went from 437,000 to 601,000, at an average of over 2,200 daily. Keyword rankings improved vastly: 53 keywords moved into the top 10 from 47, while 92 moved into the top 20 from 74. Increased monthly traffic in their SEO efforts by more than 2,100. 

Brand queries also reflected positive growth: the keyword phrase “organic roots” had 3,191 clicks with 7,840 impressions, while for the keyword phrase “organic roots pk”, clicks were 536 against impressions of 667.  Such growth in impressions not only increased brand awareness but it targeted traffic which also improves brand conversion rates in the case of Organic Roots.
