Project Objectives & Goals

TJ Wholesale works to enhance the online shopping experience by selecting nothing but quality jewelry items at the most competitive prices. While providing excellent customer outreach. The primary objectives of the client include increasing the sales via the website and more website traffic.

Our team helped TJ Wholesale towards this by conceiving a strong brand presence in front of customers. Driving more organic traffic via SEO rather than relying on paid campaigns for this, and perform strategic SEO techniques to ensure topmost organic visibility and conversions.

Project Initial Condition

Initially, before starting the SEO work with TJ Wholesale, no prior SEO work was done. More precisely, it had a website which was not visible on search engines, received barely any organic traffic, and its online presence was low.

At the time, TJ Wholesale had practically no significant keyword rankings, and the keywords were mostly not appearing in the first couple of pages of search results. The website did not have any appreciable clicks or impressions from organic search.

No SEO leads to zero visibility, making the survival of that business very improbable in the highly competitive e-commerce marketplace of jewelry. The project mainly started from scratch to lay the foundation for SEO and drive traffic.

Challenges

TJ Wholesale approached us in May 2023, having had their e-commerce site up for some time without their ever having executed any prior SEO. Coming rather late into what is an already pretty competitive market in jewelry, it fell behind in comparison to other competitors’ sites that were optimized.

The biggest challenge here, of course, was the urgency for quick results from the client, being that the need to drive more traffic, increasing sales became so strong. First things first: We needed to determine what roadblocks existed that were holding the site back. After an intensive audit, the following are some of the key issues noted:

  • No correct strategy of keywords.
  • Nothing regarding SEO structure is developed, which means poor crawlability.
  • Lack of internal links, hence fragmenting the site’s hierarchy.
  • Slowness of the website, affecting the user’s experience.
  • No optimization of product description, no optimization of meta tags.
  • Not implemented in regard to schemas on product pages.

 

These were some of the challenges that needed to be systematically addressed in order to improve the visibility and performance of the site.

TJ Wholesale yields powerful results through SEO with our team. Additional results were that there were purely 681,000 total clicks and an incredible 3.67 million total impressions! Converting these into rates of clicks and impressions per day, we have an average of 1,200 clicks per day and over 9,000 impressions daily.

Overall, the website received a lift of 681,000 clicks and 3.67 million impressions, averaging over 1,200 clicks per day and 9,000 impressions daily. Keyword rankings improved significantly, with 233 keywords in the top 10, 363 in the top 20, and 67 in the top 3 Google SERPs. The month-on-month increase in traffic reached 11,500, proof that our strategies have really worked.
